Ice Fishing

Living in Winnipeg, Manitoba, where the winters are notoriously cold, provides a unique backdrop for my love of fishing. While I typically enjoy casting my line during the warmer summer months, there is something special about embracing the frigid temperatures for ice fishing excursions. The early mornings blanketed in snow, coupled with the breathtaking sunrise, create a serene and almost mystical setting for this activity, making it a truly singular experience that only a select few have the opportunity to witness firsthand and even fewer have the chance to capture on film.
